Hey there! Today, I’m going to show you how to draw a chibi version of Naruto. So, grab a piece of paper and something to draw with, and let’s get started!
Step 1: Drawing the Eyes
Start by drawing two big round circles for the eyes on each side of the head. Begin with the one on the left: start from the top, circle around to the bottom, and then back up to the top. Repeat this process on the right side, making sure the eyes are the same size and height. Leave these circles hollow for now, as we’ll color them in blue later. Add a highlight circle at the top left of each eye, then draw a small circle in the center of each larger circle and color these small circles black.
Step 2: Creating the Mouth and Teeth
Next, draw a big crooked grin starting from the left side of the face, curving down towards the right. Add a curve at the sides of the mouth, leaving a little gap on the right side. To draw the teeth, draw a straight line across the middle of the mouth, then cross it like a “T” in the middle and color the bottom corners black. Do the same on the right side.
Step 3: Shaping the Head and Adding Whiskers
To draw the bottom of the head, locate the temples on either side of the eyes and connect these points with a curve that goes around the mouth. This will form a half-circle shape. For the whiskers, draw three curves under each eye, pointing towards the center of the face.
Step 4: Drawing the Ears and Headband
On the sides of the head, draw the ears by curving around from the temple to the side of the head. Add ear details by drawing a small curve inside each ear. Connect the two ears with a curve for the headband, curving above the eyes. Draw fierce eyebrows above each eye, angling downwards towards the center. Thicken the eyebrows by drawing a line across each one.
Step 5: Detailing the Headband and Hair
Above the eyebrows, draw the metal plate of the headband. Add three rivets on each side and draw the Hidden Leaf Village symbol in the center by starting with a swirl and adding a short line at the end. For the hair, start with an overlap on the left side, drawing spikes that aim towards the ear. Continue drawing spikes, alternating sides, until you have five spikes on each side, pointing outwards and upwards.
Step 6: Drawing the Body and Finishing Touches
Draw the neck’s collar starting below the head, curving it to the right. For the body, draw the sides coming down from the collar to the waist, connecting with a curve. Draw the zipper in the center with two lines and add vertical lines for the woven fabric texture. Add patches on each side of the body and draw the arms coming out from the sides, ending in fists. Locate the fists first, then draw the thumb and fingers overlapping each other.
Draw the legs by starting at the lower torso and curving down to the heels. Add the bottom parts of the feet with curved lines and draw the toes by adding curves at the top of the shoes. Finally, add details like the soles of the shoes, open toes, and a leg strap on the left leg.
Conclusion And there you have it! A complete drawing of chibi Naruto. I hope you enjoyed this lesson. Please give it a like and make sure to check out our other drawing tutorials.
